Basketball League Details

Our Basketball League is one of our most popular youth sports programs, and it is host to players, coaches and officials who strive to honor God while playing the great sport of Basketball!

Here's how our league works:

Where?

All evaluations, games and practices will be held at Hillside Community Baptist Church located at 27440 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34602.

When?

Game Day starts every Saturday on the HCBC court at 9am (other than 2 weekends off TBD).

All participants are expected to take part in Game Day activities and games. All games start following warm-up and prayer, typically around 9:30-9:45am.

Who?

Boys and girls from ages 5 to 15 are welcomed to join us as players or volunteers, while older kids and trusted adult members are invited to help with the program as volunteers, coaches and officials.

Our Faith Driven Basketball Program Will...

  • Teach participants overall game strategy as well as improve both offensive and defensive skills.
  • Edify each individual in the program through prayer, fellowship and the powerful Word of God. 📖
  • Provide participants with a fun & safe environment where glorifying Jesus and playing Basketball meet hand in hand! 🤝

Our Church League Will NOT...

  • We won't waste your time or your hard earned money and sit your kids on the bench the whole time... Why? Because we ain't got no benches! 👎
  • We won't inundate you with useless emails and notifications about stuff you didn't signup for, because we hate SPAM too! 📧
  • We will not allow bullying, cursing, the use of profanity or alcoholic beverages on church property. 👮

    How much does it cost to play in the league?

  • A We have a great payment structure that allows families of all sizes to enjoy Basketball. Cost is $50 for the first player in a family, $40 for the 2nd child and 3rd child in the family. Any other siblings in the same family are free to play!

    Are the games still played if it rains?

  • A No! We do not play Basketball in the rain as safety is our #1 concern, we also stop play during storms.
